Patio Leveling

A patio can be full of hidden dangers—from uneven slabs, slippery wet spots, wobbly furniture, and more. Add in tripping hazards caused by sunken concrete, and your relaxing outdoor space becomes a liability. In states like Florida, Georgia, and Texas, sunken patios often have more than a 3-inch drop between slabs or from the slab to a nearby structure, creating both a visual eyesore and a serious safety risk.

Poly Lift USA can fix your sinking patio in Florida, Georgia, and Texas using our proven polyurethane foam injection system. Slabjacking—also known as mud jacking—is a cost-effective alternative to replacing concrete. Here’s how it works in four simple steps: First, small 5/8-inch holes are drilled into the sunken slab. Second, we install injection ports. Third, high-density polyurethane foam is injected beneath the slab, expanding and lifting it. Finally, the ports are removed and the holes are patched with cement.

If your patio doesn’t appear sunken but sounds hollow, this may be due to soil erosion or settlement beneath the concrete. Weak soils are common in Florida and Georgia, and many have remained untouched for millions of years. Once construction disturbs these soils, settling is almost guaranteed. For these issues, Poly Lift USA uses a process known as soil stabilization to reinforce and protect your patio from future sinking.

Concrete Lifting & Mudjacking Warranty

Concrete pool decks rest on subgrade, which is a fancy term for the earth below.  When the subgrade begins to weaken and settle, the Concrete loses its support.  This can be caused by a variety of factors…weather, rain, leaks, excess weight to name a few.  While the root causes may vary, the end result is always the same.  Structural damage.

Over time, often in months, pool deck begin to stress, then crack and, eventually, break apart and sink.  This leads to trip hazards, unsightly appearance and a reduction in property values.  This damage is structural – not cosmetic.  Neither patching nor a new surface will solve the problem.

At Poly Lift USA we offer customers an environmentally safe, affordable, long-term resolution.

Our Foamjection technology has enabled thousands of property owners in Florida, Georgia and Texas to repair their damaged pool deck and save thousands in replacement costs.  Our typical repair is well under 50% less than cost of replacement.

Here’s how Foamjection technology works:

  1. Penny size holes are drilled through the damaged slab at 5-foot intervals.
  2. Specially formulated polyurethane foam is pumped through the slab reaching the subgrade underneath.
  3. The liquid foam fills voids and expands rapidly to compact the earth beneath the slab.
  4. As the foam hardens it locks the slab in place.  We call this stabilization.
  5. When lift is required, additional foam is pumped using carefully calibrated pressure gauges until the slab is raised to the desired height.
  6. Drill holes are filled with sanded concrete.

All Poly Lift USA repairs come with a 10-year, transferable warranty.
