Day of Service
Unlike replacing your entire sidewalk or driveway, raising your concrete with polyurethane takes only 1-2 hours. The process is simple and mostly mess-free.
- Drilling – It begins with drilling a few ⅝” holes into the concrete slab that is being raised. One of the benefits of choosing polyurethane concrete raising over mudjacking is the size and the number of holes drilled into the cement.
- Filling – Using an injection gun and a tapered delivery port, polyurethane foam is pumped below the sunken concrete. The foam fills the gaps where soil under the slab has settled or washed away.
- Raising – Once the polyurethane foam is injected below the concrete, a chemical reaction occurs. It expands and raises the concrete
- Cleanup – Once completed, the holes are filled in and all equipment is removed from site.
Using your concrete again
Once the concrete is raised to the desired height you need to allow 15 minutes for the polyurethane foam to cure. Once it has, you can walk and drive on the concrete slab once more.
